Butternut Pumpkin - Unit

Price

CHF3.00

Butternut Pumpkin is one of the most beloved autumn varieties. Its flesh is creamy, easy to slice, and carries a subtle nutty aroma that deepens as it cooks. Perfect for roasting in slices with olive oil and spices, blending into velvety soups, or preparing as a plant-based version of the classic piccata milanese.

With its mild flavor and firm texture, it's a great base for both sweet and savory dishes. Versatile, nourishing, and easy to prepare. Grown in Baselland and certified IP-Suisse.

Producer
At Mathis Hof, the passion for pumpkins began in 1991. They were pioneers in cultivating and promoting this crop in Switzerland, even helping to found the national association that champions its value today. Currently, they grow nearly 100 tons a year and over 250 varieties — both edible and decorative. With a mix of tradition, curiosity, and innovation, they offer seasonal fruits with character and deep care for the land.
