Luxenhof — Organic dairy & meat from the Swiss mountains

Luxenhof is a family-run farm in the Emmental region, managed since 2016 under Bio Suisse certification. Their goal: sustainable agriculture in true circular economy, where soil, plants, animals, and people thrive together. On 37 hectares of mountain land, they grow wheat, spelt, oats, and barley, while preserving species-rich meadows that foster biodiversity.

The cows of Luxenhof keep their horns proudly and graze on lush alpine grass and hay — never on soy, corn silage, or concentrates. Calves are raised in a mother- and foster-cow system, feeding directly from the udder and spending summers on pasture. This natural rearing leads to robust health, animal welfare, and exceptional flavor in both milk and meat.

With their approach, Luxenhof transforms mountain grass into nutritious milk, yogurt, cheese, and pasture-raised beef and veal — products that embody respect for nature, tradition, and taste.
